  • Single Night: Choose a 10, 12, or 14-hour service based on what works best for your schedule and the pet sitter’s schedule.
    • 12-hour Overnight Examples:
      • 4pm to 4am
      • 6pm to 6am
      • 8pm to 8am
      • 10pm to 10am
  • Multiple Nights: Pair your 12 hour service with a mid-day drop-in service (15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes).
    • Example: A 12-hour overnight for multiple nights can be scheduled between you and the pet sitter. If the pet sitter works a day job or has commitments from 9am-5pm, the overnight service can be from 6pm to 6am. You can also schedule a mid-day drop-in around 12pm for an additional fee which is the “Drop-In with Overnight.” The reduced price is labeled with the Drop-In pricing under “with Overnight.”
  • Added to Overnight Drop-ins: For pet owners who want their pet sitter to stop in outside of the overnight hours.
  • Stand Alone Drop-Ins: Services not paired with an Overnight.

  • Please include details about your pet(s), preferred dates and times, and any specific care needs. Once we connect, we’ll follow up with our onboarding process, including a New Client Form if you haven’t already completed it.

Yes! We offer a free meet-and-greet session where you can get to know the pet sitter, discuss your pet’s needs, and ensure a good fit for both the Pet Sitter, your FurBaby(ies), and you.

We understand that plans can change. Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to make any adjustments or cancel your booking. Our cancellation policy will apply.

  • Late Departure/Early Arrival:
    • There are no refunds or credits for late departures or early returns, or last-minute changes to pet care. Any client who returns home early agrees to notify us of their return. The remainder of the services scheduled will be canceled, and there will be no refunds for the remaining visits in that reservation. Services will stop once the client has returned home unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Payments are due in full the day service ends. There is a 15% late fee after 24 hours of receiving the invoice. Payment can be made via cash, check, Paypal, Zelle or Venmo. You will send full payment to Marisa with FurCations. While tips are not expected, should you wish to do so, we will ensure that the Pet Sitter receives the additional amount.

  • Payment & Cancellation Fees:
    • 7 Day to 48 hours Notice: 75% of total bill
    • 48 Hours or less: 100% of total bill
    • Emergency: 50% of total bill (This amount may be redeemed on your next booking. What is considered an emergency can be discussed with Marisa.)
    • Holiday/Vacation requires a 14-day advanced notice.
  • PEAK HOLIDAY CANCELLATIONS: During peak times, clients agree to pay 100% of the original reservation on cancellations with less than a 14-day notice.
  • DAILY CLIENT CANCELLATIONS: No cancellation fee, but we do ask for at least 24-hour notice.
  • If a Drop-in is not canceled and the Pet Sitter arrives, they are still owed their fee.
  • Our pet sitters are trained in pet first aid and CPR.
  • We also conduct background checks to ensure the safety and well-being of your pets.

Absolutely! We offer regular updates through text or email, including photos and detailed reports on your pet’s activities and well-being.

Additional fees may apply for services such as extended stays, or last-minute bookings. We will always inform you of any extra charges before proceeding.

Ensure you provide any necessary supplies for your pet(s), such as food, medications, leashes, litter, bedding, and any other essentials. Additionally, it’s helpful to provide the pet sitter with access to cleaning supplies and emergency contact numbers. Leaving behind a detailed instruction sheet is always a plus.

  • Holidays & Peak Dates include:
    • Spring Break/Fall Break/Winter Break Seasons (Dates will include districts such as Oldham, Henry, Shelby, Bullitt & Jefferson County as well as Southern Indiana)
    • Easter Weekend
    • Thunder Over Louisville Weekend
    • Derby Week (beginning Tuesday through the Sunday after Derby)
    • Memorial Weekend
    • July 4th Week/Weekend
    • Labor Day Weekend
    • Thanksgiving Week & Weekend (beginning Wednesday through Sunday)
    • Christmas Week (beginning Monday through New Year’s Day)
  • We will confirm at the time of your booking if a holiday fee will be included.
  • If you do not want your pets around other pets, we will respect that.
  • If you give the Pet Sitter permission to take them to the dog park, they will be around other pets.
  • If the Pet Sitter has commitments outside of the Overnight hours, you can give them permission to take your pet with them to run errands or to go to their home for a bit.
  • This can be discussed with the Pet Sitter and yourself.
  • Not without your permission.
    Any use of your home’s amenities or allowing a guest in your home is entirely at your discretion. If permission is granted, the Pet Sitter must inform you in advance of who will be present, follow your expectations, and ensure their guest is respectful of your home and space.
  • Some clients have allowed a friend to keep the Pet Sitter company at night if they feel uneasy staying alone.
  • Example: Some clients may allow use of amenities like a pool or approve a guest joining the sitter.
  • Example: Some clients have permitted a Pet Sitter to have a friend over for dinner.
